Luxury apartments are generally high-end living spaces that go beyond satisfying the basic needs of their residents. Luxury apartments are well-maintained and regularly updated with some of the most modern appliances and decor. This typically includes stone countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless steel or non-white appliances. On top of that, luxury dwellings are often larger than traditional apartments and have some of the best views in the city.

Luxury spaces also typically have plenty of on-site amenities, which resident’s lives easier. These include pools, fitness centers, dog parks, movie theaters, and dry-cleaning services. Traditional apartments have some of these features, but luxury apartments use state-of-the-art technology and designs that are more high-end. That being said, what constitutes a luxury amenity varies by market, so amenities alone don’t mark a luxury living space.

Finally, the interior of the apartment plays a role in whether it is luxury or not. Large windows and high ceilings are common for luxury apartments. In addition, the larger space that these units provide allows for larger bedrooms and kitchens.
