GINO CANORI — ACCOMPLISHED EXECUTIVE WITH AN AWARD-WINNING FIRM

Gino Canori, a member of the executive team at San Francisco-based Related California, is among the decision-makers whose work has built the firm’s current development pipeline, comprising some 2,500 residential rental units and an additional 500,000 square feet of commercial property located in Northern and Southern California.

After accepting a position as a project manager with the firm in 2001, Gino Canori went on to serve as vice president and then senior vice president, moving into his current role as executive vice president and chief of development in 2014.

Under Mr. Canori’s direction as a member of his firm’s executive team, 15 Related California professionals work across a variety of design, development, and marketing efforts. He oversees a $3 billion development portfolio, with a concentration on the firm’s signature mixed-use, mixed-income, and market-value multi-family residential and commercial projects in key urban infill markets. Gino Canori and his team are the recipients of multiple awards. He led the development of Ocean Avenue South, a 1 million-square-foot mixed-income complex consisting of upscale condominiums alongside affordable apartment units and retail spaces in Santa Monica. This project received a 2016 Global Award for Excellence from the Urban Land Institute. Among additional honors, Mr. Canori’s work has received an American Architecture Award. And in 2020, the San Francisco Business Times named Related California Developer of the Year.
